Loka Brunn was established as a spa resort since the 1700s, with two kings as customers. It flourished in the 1800s, with rich guests visiting the place every summer, especially because of its mud bath. Many visitors suffered chronic rheumatism.

I didn’t see any mud bath when we were¬†there. And it stopped being a haven for rheumatic patients. But it’s just as popular.

We liked swimming in the pools with different temperatures. I normally like warm water, from 38 to 40 degrees C. And Loka Brunn has several of those, too, to my pleasure.

I especially like the big warm pool with chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. Under water, we could hear soothing classical music. I felt like a mermaid in a film with a nice soundtrack.
