London has Hyde Park. New York has Central Park. Amsterdam has Vondelpark.

The park, who is named after the Shakespeare of the Netherlands, is a 120 acre English-style ground  with ponds, gardens and lawns.

We hoped in a boat and got off a boat station near Vondelpark and took some walk. When we got to the park, my company wanted to sit down awhile. So we sat on a green elevated lawn. We observed the people walking or cycling by, or like ourselves, just sitting and taking it easy.

Soon, with my umbrella to shade me from the sun, I fell asleep.

When I awoke, L-Å wanted to leave Vondelpark. A pity really, because we’ve just seen the start. There were more things to see at this park.
